St Cuthbert's Primary School sent in the following details of its Homecoming activities...
As a school we met in the hall and had a Burns Competition.
This is held annually but this year to mark the year of Homecoming we had a Burns Supper in the dinner school afterwards where everyone tried haggis, neeps and tatties.
For the competition two pupils from each class recited a Scottish poem, and two pupils from each class sang a Scottish song. There were overall winners for the poems and songs.
