Arthurlie Family Centre

Arthurlie Family Centre sent in the following details of its Homecoming activities...

We began our celebrations for St Andrew's day 2008 with a piper visiting the nursery and dancing to Scottish music.

Throughout January we celebrated Burns' poetry and other Scottish literature and had a Burns Supper where the piper returned to the nursery and haggis was piped in. The piper then gave a rendition of To a Haggis.

We now plan to enter The National Trust for Scotland competition which involves designing a garden in a wheelbarrow using the theme of Robert Burns. Our imagination will run wild!
