Homecoming activities at Iochdar School, South Uist
Iochdar Primary School sent in the following details about its Homecoming activities...
We are working with other local schools and Learning and Teaching Scotland in producing a DVD and brochure to promote their island - Uist - for tourism.
We are looking at the environment, history and culture, and how these aspects will influence people in the Year of Homecoming.
The school was the winner of the 2009 Homecoming Award.
