Students from the East of Scotland's Schools of Ambition describe projects they undertook that helped them change individually and as a school.

The students and staff at Dunbar Grammar used their enterprise, creative and leadership skills to set up seven companies focusing on a range of interests. The students encouraged the whole school to play a part in the companies.

Healthy eating, exercise and self-esteem are on the agenda for this S1 project. A number of departments got involved, including science, maths, PE, English and home economics.

Renfrew High School worked with the charitable organisation right2dance to make dance an available part of the curriculum for all S1 and S2 pupils, helping to improve creativity, confidence and self-esteem.
