Telling the story
Wallace Hall has transformed what is on offer to its pupils. Consulting closely with parents, the school has restructured its curriculum Smaller classes and accelerated courses in S1 set high standards and allow an integrated S4/5/6 model that delivers a dynamic and flexible curriculum for all. Two year highers have enriched learning experiences and facilitated the embedding of the development of the four Curriculum for Excellence Capacities. Attainment has been raised, and links with colleges and universities strengthened.
Exciting new vocational opportunities delivered in the local community in partnership with local businesses and estates are transforming the education experiences on offer. The school’s real focus on Learning and Teaching is underpinned by quality CPD and Action Research, and work with its associated primaries on consistency in learning and teaching has better prepared pupils for transition.
