Telling the story

In partnership with St Margaret Mary's Secondary School, this School of Ambition set out jointly to raise self esteem and ambition for their pupils and their community. Through their joint Transformational Plan, they have

  • Improved learning and teaching - through an innovative programme of CPD
  • Enhanced the curriculum offered to pupils - through joint working and local partnerships
  • Raised attendance levels - through a range of strategies including working closely with associated primary schools

Developed Employability Skills – employing a full time Careers Adviser to work with the most vulnerable pupils to develop personal pathways into training, employment or FE.
