Programme for Transformational Change 

Lossiemouth High School has developed a radical agenda for change which is designed to increase the skills and capacity of all pupils, staff and parents. They are challenging conventional ways of thinking and working by adopting solution oriented practice, focusing on three tightly interrelated key areas of improvement.

Leadership encompassing coaching and mentoring, pupil focused learning and teaching, ethos and relationships.  Their vision is to build a values driven organisation not seen anywhere else in Scotland.

They aim to empower young people by giving them a genuine say and responsibility within the school community. By developing a sense of ownership of their environment they hope to impact on attitudes and behaviour. Teachers will be encouraged to trust and believe in young people.
