Programme for Transformational Change

This Council bid proposes focussed action, which will impact significantly on the capacity of all three of Clackmannanshire's Secondary Schools. They will deliver, with greater effect, the aspirations, which they have for all of their pupils. This applies in particularly to those who are, currently, vulnerable to under and/or low performance.

Improving outcomes for low achievers and raising attainment and expectations is at the heart of this plan. To achieve this, the Authority will implement a programme of professional development in the use of Co-operative Learning. In addition they will continue to extend the range of curriculum experiences, including enterprise, citizenship, sport and the arts.
