Programme for Transformational Change
The school’s aim is to be a centre of the local community, and with creative thinking, well beyond usual practices and norms.
The school will stimulate new, entrepreneurial ways of tackling social problems by connecting the community and other partners; create a Social Economy Centre; improve opportunities and outcomes, with better attainment, excellence in vocational training, development of community learning and integration of ICT into teaching in all areas of the curriculum.
The school will establish a charitable company, linked with the community, implement a healthy living initiative; and establish a community ICT training scheme at the school, with pupils as a significant part of its staff, and community wide ICT integration across the school catchment area.
