Schools of Ambition

Telling the story

Telling the story

The Schools of Ambition programme was created to test the capacity for change in Scottish education.  The first 21 Schools have now completed their journey of  transformation and some innovative and effective strategies have emerged which demonstrate to the whole school community, during a time of great change through Curriculum for Excellence, of just what is possible in a modern Scotland.  We hope you will find the stories below useful, much of schools interventions exemplify the creativity and innovation needed to change the way we organise learning for young people and improve their life chances and outcomes.
