Description

Virtual Work Experience is a relevant, fun and interactive resource in which students can discover and explore a variety of job roles in a range of businesses and other organisations. 

This Learning and Teaching Scotland resource aims to enhance and support work placements by enabling students to step into different workplaces and learn about specific job skills.

The Virtual worlds (workplaces) include :

  • Transport
  • Food and drink
  • Retail
  • Hair, beauty and nails
  • NHS trauma
  • Contact centre.

Each world has a variety of work roles within them which users can browse through.

Access files icon Access Database
To open or save an Access file you will need to have MS Access installed on your machine. Click on the name of the Access database to save it to your computer.
