Animating Learning with PowerPoint

Asking People
Pupils are encouraged to think about who they might ask to obtain different kinds of information, and how they might go about it. It helps them to plan interviews and to think about how they will record information from interviews. It also looks at some of the issues to consider in designing simple questionnaires.

As information detectives, pupil's will learn how to tell the difference between primary and secondary sources and how to check that the information is reliable. Notes for parents and teachers are included.

Grid Club
The GridClub Learning Centre has more than 500 games and activities designed for children aged between 6 and 12 and also incorporates LittleGrid, which presents activities designed for 5 to 7 year olds.

Information Literacy
An online service to support the development of information skills. Students can find resources to help with a range of learning including, using the Internet, recognising the reliability of information, reading the media and visual literacy.

Interactive maths games
