| Description | Scotland has a strong history of innovative scientists who have pushed the boundaries of scientific thinking. This resource highlights the profiles of 25 contemporary scientists working in Scotland today. They have been nominated by their peers in acknowledgement of their contribution to science in Scotland and in many cases around the world. They represent many different areas of science and technology, some of which are so new they are still evolving. Resource applicabilityThis resource supports the Government’s vision for an ambitious Scotland and the principles of Curriculum for Excellence and Assessment for Learning. It provides a vehicle for collaborative learning and an appreciation of the wider world of science.
