Silver Surfers' Day toolkit

Silver Surfers’ day is an annual event organised to encourage the elderly to engage with the internet. This resource pack has been created to help schools plan and hold their own Silver Surfers' Day event.

Everything that pupils and teachers will need to hold a Silver Surfers' Day is provided, including:

• An event holders' guide
• wall planners
• promotional posters
• a comprehensive range of support materials

The toolkit support materials (1-16) are structured so that small teams or committees will be responsible for taking on specific roles and tasks within the organisation and running of the event. They have been also been created in Word format, so that they can be adapted to suit the learners.
