Information Literacy
An online service to support the development of information skills. Students can find resources to help with a range of learning including, using the Internet, recognising the reliability of information, reading the media and visual literacy.

Interactive Body
Try these interactive games from the BBC to learn more about the structure of the human body. See if you can put the bones, organs, muscles and senses in the right place! Each activity takes only 5-10 minutes and would work well on an interactive whiteboard. Activities would be suitable for Access 3 and Intermediate 1 Biology.

Kidnapped
Part of the Edinburgh, UNESCO City of Literature website which has information, downloadable teachers' and librarians' resources, and online and downloadable activities for pupils, all related to the novel 'Kidnapped' by Robert Louis Stevenson. 'Kidnapped' is the focus of a mass reading campaign in the city during February 2007.
