Pupiltrain is a Scottish based company that runs three key courses for supporting S1-S6 pupils: Prepare to Pass, Determined to do My Best and Citizenship.

Determined to do My Best (S1-S4)

Determined to do My Best bridges the gap between school and work. This course is particularly useful for less motivated pupils and follows the Determined to Succeed initiative.

Pupils reflect on how they control their own self-esteem and identify the skills learned at school and how they are needed for work. Pupils also investigate what enterprise is and the nine attributes that make an entrepreneur.

Prepare to Pass (S3-S6)

This course focuses pupils on exam success, with information and advice to enable them to do their best in any exam. Pupils are taught how to prepare and are given practical exercises in the three main study skills. They also get the opportunity to explore their attitudes, fears and hopes for exams. 

Citizenship (S3-S6)

Pupils reflect on the society in which they live, their expectations of their community and what it expects of them. This course focuses on what citizens need to know about issues in society to form opinions or make judgements. Personal traits like self-esteem, emotional maturity, and the interdependence of citizens in society are all discussed.

Pupils will also examine major issues in society and use their citizenship skills to find solutions. Leadership, enterprise, and entrepreneurship are also investigated.
