Pupil Participation ... It's our school

A toolkit providing practitioners with a range of ideas for developing or enhancing pupil participation in schools for children with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. Also relevant to organisations, including mainstream schools, struggling to include young people whose behaviour is challenging. It does this by:

• setting out the principles of pupil participation and why it should be an essential element of any school ethos
• giving examples of tried and tested methods of increasing the amount and quality of pupil participation
• providing practical resources to use or adapt
• highlighting successful strategies for partnership working for outside agencies planning work in schools.
