Natural Power

Description

The company was founded in 1995 by Stuart Hall, who had previously worked for another energy business. Scott explains, 'The driving vision was to help others to develop wind farms. It is estimated that by the year 2020 Scotland could retain at least 7000 jobs in renewable energy provision. In the UK we are increasingly having to develop alternative fuel supplies as fossil fuels run out and also because energies like wind are more environmentally friendly.

We believe that by 2020, 40% of Scotland's energy supplies could be provided by renewables. Basically our business is concerned with providing services to those developing wind energy. This includes the identification of sites, and getting involved in all of the planning processes involved in site development. We provide a total service from concept to consent, ie from idea development to full planning agreement.'
