DescriptionThese materials were created by Dave Elgin to support Standard Grade Mathematics. Each zip file contains tasks and investigations in Word and PowerPoint formats. Please read the teachers' notes first. Topics include: volume of cuboid; quadratic formula; fractions; speed, distance time; similar triangles; circle-arcs, sectors, areas; simultaneous equations; sequences-number patterns; Pythagoras; areas of 2D shapes; logical thinking; max/min problems; graphs.

PowerPoint files icon PowerPoint File
To view a PowerPoint file you will need to have MS PowerPoint installed on your machine. Click on the name of the PowerPoint presentation to open it. If you don’t have PowerPoint installed, it is still possible to view presentations by downloading a PowerPoint Viewer. Visit the help page for instructions.
Excel files icon Excel File
To view an Excel file you will need to have MS Excel installed on your machine. Click on the name of the Excel spreadsheet to open it.
Access files icon Access Database
To open or save an Access file you will need to have MS Access installed on your machine. Click on the name of the Access database to save it to your computer.
