This resource provides details of Moray Council's guidelines and support materials for ensuring good accessibility practice for all learners in school.

It contains key principles, practical applications and examples of good practice to help schools develop policies and systems that promote accessibility and inclusion.

Key areas covered are:

  • accessibility to the environment
  • accessibility to the curriculum
  • appropriate communications.

Guidelines on a range of issues such as enrolment, staff development and listening to the views of children and young people are included. Brief examples also show how schools have approached a wide variety of accessibility issues.
