|---|---|
| Author | Elaine M. Cowan |
| Summary / abstract | This research report explores student experiences in using formative assessment while on placement for the final year of BEd degree, or the one-year PGDE programmes for primary and secondary sectors, at one Scottish university. It follows up previous research on BEd4 students’ take up of AifL in 2003-4 and enthusiastic implementation in 2004-5. In 2005-6, the BEd4 survey was extended to PGDE S students, and in 2006-7 all three cohorts of ITE students were included in the survey with 79% of the BEd4 and PGDE S cohorts and 64% of PGDE P students participating. |
