AuthorLearning and Teaching Scotland (LTS)
Description

Ideas in Partnership believes that society needs enterprising and creative youngsters with good communication skills. It works in partnership with schools, and has a track record in delivering enterprise education throughout Scotland.

Learning objectives

Ideas in Partnership helps to stimulate an entrepreneurial culture in Scottish schools. By motivating pupils to take action in a socially responsible way, children turn ideas into opportunities.

Pupils are taught about market research, business planning and event management in enterprise. The exercises raise confidence and self-esteem through creative thinking and practical exercises. By working together, a 'can-do' attitude and team-building skills are developed.

Benefits

  • The children explore and learn to build their sense of creativity and innovation.
  • Training is tailored to each school's needs.
  • Ideas in Partnership fosters links between the school and the business community.
