Description

This guide helps students understand what is involved in the Higher History course. It introduces the study topics available, how they will be assessed and the study approaches for this course.

Students are also provided with useful tips on the important aspects of Higher History including:

  • essay writing
  • the extended essay
  • the historical special topic.

It is intended that this guide will be updated to reflect any changes to the course and the wider changes taking place in Scottish education at the current time.

To open or save an Access file you will need to have MS Access installed on your machine. Click on the name of the Access database to save it to your computer.
