| Description | A two-part resource on vegetation succession was created by the Macaulay Institute. It features the following the PowerPoint and PDF documents: Sand dune succession: Information and diagrams explaining Psammosere and the development of sand dunes (including embryo, fore, yellow and grey dunes). The PowerPoint document also includes an interactive question board to consolidate learning. Moorland succession: Explores the aspects of plant succession including the arresting factors, the Caledonian forest, ecosystem development and heather management. A series of student tasks are included.
