Description

This National Qualifications Curriculum Support (NQCS) resource been prepared to support the delivery of the English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) course at Higher.

This resource provides four reading texts, each accompanied by a variety of tasks. It also includes a practice assessment, which contains two texts, to enable students to prepare for the external reading assessment.

The final chapter – Teacher’s notes – provides solutions to each task included in the resource.

To view an Excel file you will need to have MS Excel installed on your machine. Click on the name of the Excel spreadsheet to open it.
Access files icon Access Database
To open or save an Access file you will need to have MS Access installed on your machine. Click on the name of the Access database to save it to your computer.
