| Description | This National Qualifications Curriculum Support resource provides listening exercises to support the teaching of English for speakers of other languages at Intermediate 2 level. The resource covers listening for specific information, understanding attitude, and understanding tone and register. The topics covered are dates, numbers and currency; these are examined in the context of shopping. The accompanying listening recordings are available in mp3 format. A CD containing all ESOL listening recordings published in March 2008 is also available (£6.50 + £1.14 VAT) – contact LTS’s Customer Services for more details (T: 08700 100 297).
