Changing school cultures

A PowerPoint presentation outlining the necessary changes in attitudes and practice to ensure restorative practices are embedded in the culture of Scottish schools.

The presentation covers important issues such as:

• message management
• transformational change and process
• leadership practices
• training, maintenance and support
• managing the transition.

This presentation was delivered to the Restorative Practices pilot schools in November 2005. The presenter, Margaret Thorsborne, is an experienced practitioner and trainer who has written widely about restorative justice and practices in schools and in the wider community.
