| Description | As an independent business, City Refrigeration Holdings works in partnership with its customers to provide them with a range of facilities management activities such as electrical, refrigeration, flooring, drainage, lifts, gas, landscaping, pest control, painting, catering, mechanical, plumbing, CCTV, decorating and other services for their requirements. Whereas in the past organisations used to use a range of sub-contractors and organisations to undertake different elements of work, City offers a one-stop service for a range of facilities management activities. Today the group employs 10,000 people and provides services at over 300 locations across the UK. Its centre of operations is a state-of-the-art helpdesk in Glasgow that offers a 24-hour service seven days a week. It took more than 500,000 calls in 2005. |
