Title Babies Love Books in Stirling
Description

This guide illustrates some of the ways in which Stirling Council supports early literacy and book sharing through the Babies Love Books initiative. The ideas shared in this document are based on Stirling's experience of sharing books, stories, rhymes and songs with young children and their families through the Babies Love Books project. They reflect current understandings of how very young children can be introduced to books, stories, rhymes and songs and ways in which adults can support children's exploration of early literacy through working in partnership with families.

Presented in an easy-to-use binder, Babies Love Books is a practical guide that encourages all adults, parents, carers, childcarers and early educators to share and celebrate books, stories, rhymes and songs.
