Art and design provides students with opportunities to develop and use their creative and aesthetic skills. It can also contribute significantly to the development of expressive and design skills, flexibility of thought and action, and students' personal and social development. Art and design makes a significant contribution to preparing young people for work through developing skills, including communication, problem solving, using information and communications technology (ICT) and working with others.
