TitleWorkshop 2 - Curriculum for Excellence, Physical Education and Dance Outcomes
Start time11.15
Duration60 mins
Description

This coming year will see the emergence of learning outcomes and experiences across the curriculum. They will provide broad statements of learning that require a range of teaching and assessment approaches - through the use of these outcomes and experiences, we can motivate, enthuse and challenge young people.

This presentation will highlight the significant role and place that PE, physical activity including sport, has within the area of Health and Wellbeing, and the place of dance within the Expressive Arts area. Participants will be able to work with examples of outcomes to look at and consider practical ways to support active learning that engage and challenge children's thinking.
