| Description | The workshop will introduce delegates to the concept of body combat and kick boxing and look at how these can be introduced as fun, dynamic fitness activities within a physical education department. Delegates will be encouraged to participate but this is not mandatory. Delegates who participate must wear suitable clothing and footwear. There will be opportunities for discussion and to find out further information. |
| Speaker | David Taylor with pupils from St Columba’s RC High School, Perth. David has been teaching physical education in St Columba’s for three years. Previous to this he taught in Glasgow. Through Perth and Kinross he was given the opportunity to attend body systems training and became qualified in body combat. He teaches it within the core curriculum and also leads it as an extra curricular option. David has also led regional in-service in Perth and Kinross on body combat. |
