The Scottish Government has produced resources to help in getting started with your Parent Council, Parentzone merchandise and Making the Difference information leaflets for parents, including DVDs on the Curriculum for Excellence and Promoting Parental Partnerships, which has a range of film clips of projects from schools with practical examples of how parents and Parent Councils got involved in their children’s learning.
If you are having a parents event with a stall, we have bookmarks, posters, pens, z-cards and post-it notes that can be sent out. All of these things are available free of charge by sending a request to parentzone@scotland.gsi.gov.uk.
