Conference proceedings

The Outdoor Learning Conference was a great success. It attracted 50 exhibitors and over 300 delegates. 

Heather Reid delivered a thought provoking keynote and the Scottish Government's support was conveyed by Fergus Ewing MSP, Minister for Community Safety, who delivered an evening address.

Following the success of the conference, LTS are now working on a framework for Outdoor Learning (OL), in conjunction with Scottish Government and under the guidance of the Outdoor Learning Strategic Advisory Group (OLSAG).  Part of the framework will draw on the seminar task about a rationale and vision for outdoor learning, whilst other sections will consider further themes from the conference.

Many people contributed to the success of the conference, both in the build up and during the event. This includes the exhibitors, presenters, facilitators, speakers, LTS administrative staff and the organising committee.
