MAGS
MAGS meet quarterly with the aim of supporting teachers of maths and numeracy in both primary and secondary schools across all Local Authorities. The meetings aim to provide a forum for dissemination of good practice, opportunities to discuss matters of policy and a chance for delegates to exchange information and views on local and national issues.
Number Partners
Scottish Business in the Community in partnership with Learning and Teaching Scotland are running a pilot Number Partners programme in Scotland. Number Partners is a volunteering scheme that brings together business volunteers and schools, working collaboratively to improve standards in numeracy.
Scottish Mathematical Council (SMC)
The SMC aims to foster and improve mathematical education at all levels, and to encourage the advancement and application of mathematics throughout Scotland.
