    12 June 2009
    On Thursday 11 June Fiona Hyslop, Cabinet Secretary for Education and Lifelong Learning, announced the future arrangements for Scotland’s National Qualifications.
  • Scotland's exam season gets under way

    05 May 2009
    The Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) announces that the exam season is now underway. The exams end on Friday 12 June and results will be issued on Wednesday 5 August. Links to a SQA news release and articles from the the BBC and the Herald newspaper are provided.
  • Rush to apply to new universities

    23 April 2009
    The BBC reports that new universities are reporting an "unprecedented" rise in applications - with warnings that this will mean many applicants being turned away.
