The draft experiences and outcomes for the Technologies and Health and Wellbeing are now published on the Curriculum for Excellence website.
These documents have been designed to provide information for all staff in all education establishments on the context and scope of the draft outcomes; they also explain what schools and centres should do with the draft outcomes.

This month's recommendation is Confucius Classrooms, an ‘online hub’ providing support for learning about Chinese language and culture, including resources and examples of practice in Scottish schools.
NQ: latest added educational websites
The Cabinet Secretary for Education and Lifelong Learning Fiona Hyslop made a statement to the Scottish Parliament about changes proposed to the examinations and qualifications system in Scotland.
The main points of this include:
A consultation process will be launched between June and October to allow the education profession, parents, the further education sector and employers to comment and reflect on the proposals.

The Official Conference Guide for this year's event has now been distributed to all schools and education establishments in Scotland, with information about the 170 keynotes, spotlights and seminar sessions taking place across the SECC and Clyde Auditorium on Wednesday 24 and Thursday 25 September.

With over 170 seminars to choose from, the Scottish Learning Festival conference programme has something for everyone in education. All keynote addresses can be pre-booked, and you can also register for two spotlights or seminars each day. Make sure you book your place at one of the Curriculum for Excellence draft experiences and outcomes seminars and hear from the writers themselves.
The Scottish Learning Festival is free to all educationalists. To guarantee places at seminars it is strongly recommended that you make your selections and book before the summer break, as space is limited.
