Curriculum for Excellence is Scotland’s new curriculum which will transform education in Scotland by providing a coherent, streamlined and more flexible curriculum from 3 to 18, firmly focused on the needs of the child and young person.

The experiences and outcomes, launched in 2009 are an essential component of Scotland’s new curriculum and apply wherever learning is planned.
