
Don’t miss the opportunity to attend this year’s Scottish Learning Festival, the largest annual national education conference and exhibition in Scotland. This year we’re celebrating the 10th anniversary of the event; it’s free to attend and is jam packed with excellent CPD opportunities with over 170 sessions for you to attend.
This year’s theme is Curriculum for Excellence: Making the change, which includes over 20 seminars that focus on the recently released Experiences and Outcomes. With inspirational keynote speeches from leading education professionals as well as the opening keynote from the Cabinet Secretary for Education and Lifelong Learning ,Fiona Hyslop MSP, you won’t want to miss this chance to find out what is going on at the heart of education in Scotland.
With over 7,000 education professionals expected to attend, there will be dozens of opportunities to chat with and seek advice from experienced practitioners. You will also find staff from the Scottish Government, Learning and Teaching Scotland, SQA and HMIE on hand to chat to you about any aspect of education and learning.
Also be sure to check out Scotland’s largest educational resources exhibition; with up to 200 exhibitors, you can try out resources and get some great tips and ideas for classroom practice. In the Learning in Practice area you will find Education Authority representatives from across Scotland, giving you the chance to have a chat with them and find out what’s happening in your authority.
