Many local authorities and schools are reviewing their pupil support structures in line with the values and purposes of Curriculum for Excellence. In light of these emerging developments, Education Scotland is holding a conference for secondary pupil support/guidance teachers and practitioners.
The theme of the conference is 'Curriculum for Excellence Supporting Learners - Practical approaches to delivering the entitlement to (personal) support in an evolving landscape'.
The event will include a national update on support entitlements from Education Scotland. This will be followed by a choice of practitioner-led workshops on developments relating to key aspects of the supporting learners entitlement.
