Great Climate Change Debate: Climate science - evidence vs controversy

The Education Scotland Global Citizenship team is inviting schools to join in the Great Climate Change Debate on Glow.

The debate on 'Climate science - evidence vs controversy' will start at 2pm on 30 January 2012

During the event learners will have the chance to air their views and put searching questions to our panel of scientists including:

  • Dr Dave Reay, Senior Lecturer in Carbon Management at the University of Edinburgh and author of 'Our Planet Needs You! A Kid's Guide to Going Green'.
  • Dr Richard Milne, Institute of Molecular Plant Sciences, University of Edinburgh – winner of EUSA award for innovative teaching as voted for by students across the university.

This is the second of three Glow Meets bringing together a panel of scientists and experts to answer questions and help learners navigate their way through climate fact, fiction and controversy.

Register for the Glow Meet here and submit your questions and views in advance through the Glow Climate Change Forum (both links require a Glow login).
