Providing the right choices and chances for all young people is central to Curriculum for Excellence.
The Scottish Government’s More Choices, More Chances strategy is ensuring the learning and wider support system delivers better outcomes for those young people at risk of moving into a negative destination after school.
This conference, from Learning and Teaching Scotland, will allow local authorities and their partners to consider their current systems and structures; and what improvements are needed to ensure effective delivery of young people’s entitlements to a coherent, inclusive Senior Phase.
There will be presentations and workshops where delegates will have time to view and discuss the work of colleagues; to reflect on local delivery; and to formulate ideas and plans to ensure that 16+ Learning Choices is fully embedded within Curriculum for Excellence.
