Entries are now open for two National Galleries of Scotland (NGS) competitions. These include the National Galleries of Scotland Art Competition for Schools 2010 and Inspired? Get Writing: Creative Writing Competition 2009/10.
The art competition is aimed at nursery, primary, secondary and special education schools with prizes for individuals and whole classes.

A calendar featuring the top winning art works is sent, each year, to every school in Scotland and available for sale in the gallery shops.
