BAAF Scotland Autumn Conference

BAAF Scotland Autumn Conference - Royal College Of Physicians Edinburgh -17 November 2009

This important conference will provide a unique opportunity for those attending to exchange ideas and information and share experiences. The conference will contribute to policy developments in Scotland and to strategic planning. Participants will have the opportunity to:

• gain an overview of the needs of children separated from birth families;
• hear about key messages from research;
• consider those services required to support adoption and how these could be provided; and
• listen to the experiences of those with personal knowledge of adoption.

This event is supported by Scottish Government and ADSW and will be of interest to senior managers, heads of
children’s services, practitioners and their managers in social work health and education, members of fostering and adoption panels, children’s hearing members, adoptive parents, safeguarders and legal practitioners.
