Development of online Gaelic dictionary
It’s not long since the Gaelic dictionary Dwelly went online and for the first time ever people were able to use the dictionary not only from Gaelic to English, but now from English into Gaelic.
The two people involved with this project, William Robertson and Michael Bauer who have wholly funded this themselves, aim to bring a further step to this valuable resource. Am Faclair Beag (the wee dictionary) as it has been called now incorporates more of the works in Dwelly and the editors are encouraging people to vote as to whether the words in the dictionary are used today or not.
