SQA publishes new ESOL case studies

The Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) has a number of case studies of English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) candidates from schools and colleges who have undertaken SQA ESOL units and/or courses.

It has recently added two case studies about students in school and college who achieved the Higher ESOL qualification.

Readers can find out how Higher ESOL helped Sonia Mustafa from St Roch's Secondary, Glasgow, to progress to study a BSc in Biomedical Sciences at Strathclyde University, and helped Alice Keung, who studied at Glasgow Metropolitan College, to gain work as an Architect's Assistant.
