25,000 exam results by e-mail or text

The Scotsman reports that more than 25,000 youngsters have signed up to receive their exam results by text or email according to officials. The pupils, about a sixth of the total waiting for national qualification results, will be able to see how they fared from 8 am on Tuesday 5 August - the day on which the results will also arrive in the traditional way by post.
