Description

These National Qualifications Curriculum Support (NQCS) materials have been prepared to support the delivery of freestanding units for English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) at Intermediate 1.

This collection of resources will help learners develop speaking, writing, listening and reading skills in personal and social contexts, transactional contexts and vocational contexts.  The resources will cover the following topics:

  • Personal identity
  • Social and physical environment
  • Free time and leisure
  • Goods and services
  • Health
  • Travel
  • Study

Six PowerPoint presentations to support development of accurate grammar accompany the materials.
