Description

This resource provides learning and teaching approaches and support notes for the drama skills unit at Access 3 level.

The stimulus for the activities is the life and work of Robert Burns. Ideas for interdisciplinary learning opportunities are highlighted within the resource.

The following student activities are outlined:

  • Introductory activities (a discussion of the nature and purpose of the unit and group-forming activities)
  • Warm-up activities (focusing on concentration, voice and/or the body and relaxation)
  • Responding to stimuli
  • Exploration of one or more dramatic situations/contexts
  • Selecting an end product to the exploration
  • Review and evaluation

To open or save an Access file you will need to have MS Access installed on your machine. Click on the name of the Access database to save it to your computer.
