George is headteacher of Cauldeen Primary School in Inverness. It is a mainstream primary school with a significant International Education element embedded into the curriculum.
George says: 'All classes have links to another school overseas or more than one school. Every pupil every year has the opportunity of communicating with children from a different culture. We have used second language learning in the early years and where appropriate the links have been formalised through the eTwinning programme. International team teaching and the use of audience to raise language standards are features of our links to partner schools. ICT is the principal medium to sustain our links.'
